| View from my room (Floor 1 of 1st floor - ha) |
Jarka told that it is even more safe because of all the security for his visit and her school has so many children of dignitaries that it is also secure. Interesting that I'm not concerned about safety here in Prague. Must be on everyone's mind.
Well, back to my original story . . . after a lovely breakfast and feeling much more like myself. I confidently took the elevator (yes) to the 1st floor -- after wandering aimless around from one end to the other thinking, how can I not find room 104, I shamelessly had to return to the front desk to ask how to find my room - - apparently there are two 1st floors -- who knew? Now I don't feel so ridiculous, although I don't think I'm helping with the general reputation of American tourists.
Jarka met me at the hotel last night. I can't believe she waited for me. She had a very traditional, thoughtful gift and Easter candy. I was very happy to see her. She let me borrow her map as she circled and wrote down all the public transportation. She is so kind -- she figured it all out for me.Unfortunately, I was told some of the lines were closed today due to the Chinese Presidential visit, so I'll be taking a taxi from the hotel. I feel a bit guilty after she took the time to put all of the directions together for me. I'll have to give it a try tomorrow.
Well I'm off to the school! Very excited to see everything! Sounds like we have a busy day set up . . . so I'll check-in later . . .

Hope you have a great day at school! Glad you found your room again :) It's like Russia where they you had to go up like 6 floors to get to the 4th!
